$3M fund launched to help local nonprofits weather coronavirus downturn

How long can your organization hold its breath? Donor support is the air that all nonprofits need to survive. Some organizations have deeper lungs. They can be sustainable for a temporary time. Others need that steady flow. The reality is fundraising is vital to keeping your organization alive. It cannot be ignored during this difficult time, but it does need to be adjusted.

Faison Center partnering with Westhampton Day School for new integrated program

Before leaving for the long Thanksgiving weekend and after eating fistfuls of gluten-free sweets, 4-year-old Ty Dorion slung his jacket over his shoulders and walked over to the adults.

He was ready to leave after an hour spent carousing around a Faison Center classroom, singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” into a toy microphone and smiling with friends and his little brother.

“Bye, everybody!” he shouted again and again, waving two tiny hands that hold his mother’s heart.
